Description

Recorded by VarietyVista, this San Francisco Mint Lincoln Wheat Cent displays the 11th cataloged repunched S mintmark for the 1950-S date, with distinctive die scratches that appear and disappear across four stages. Die markers UVC-352 / DMR-013: Stage A at EDS (unconfirmed); Stage B with heavy die scratches north-south under ear at EMDS, numerous die scratches north-south on obverse and reverse at EMDS; Stage C with weaker obverse die scratches at LMDS and die scrapes through N of ONE at LMDS; Stage D with obverse die scratches gone at LDS, reverse die scratches gone at LDS, and die scrapes through N of CENT.
