Die markers: UVC-344 DMR-005 Stage A: Strong secondary upper serif tip – EMDS Heavy die scratches North in front of date Numerous die scratches North-South on Reverse – EMDS Stage B: Obverse and Reverse are MDS Stage C: Weak secondary upper serif tip – LDS Light die crack in the hair Reverse is LDS Stage D: Very weak secondary upper serif tip – VLDS Weak Obverse die scratches Longer and stronger die crack in the hair Reverse is VLDS.
