Die markers: UVC-343 DMR-004 Stage A: Strong secondary mintmark – EDS V shaped die scratches West of mintmark Two parallel die scratches Northwest between 1 and 9 of date Reverse is EDS Stage B: Medium secondary mintmark – MDS V shaped die scratches are worn away Reverse is MDS Stage C: Weak secondary mintmark – LDS Parallel die scratches almost worn away Reverse is LDS Stage D: Very weak secondary mintmark – VLDS Parallel die scratches barely visible Reverse is VLDS.
