Description
1950 WDDO-001 is a doubled die obverse on the 1950 Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. A strong spread from a pivot near 12:30 is clearest on the designer's initials, with a light spread on IN GOD WE TRUST and a very light one on the date. On the obverse, a die chip (dot) sits between WE and TRUST toward the top, and another lies in the field below TRUST's R. On the reverse, heavy to light scratches cover the letters of STATES OF AMERICA and the spaces between them. Joe Feld submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as 1-O-V.
