Description

1949-D WRPM-014 is a repunched mint mark on the 1949-D Lincoln Wheat cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Wexler describes it as D/D Southeast: the extra D lies southeast of the primary. Obverse markers: a trace of the first mint mark shows under the mint mark, and chips sit at TRUST's U, at its lower left and centered near its top. Reverse marker: north-south scratches around ONE's E and CENT's T. Ken Potter submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as RPM #4 and Coppercoins as 1949D-1MM-004.
