S/S WestDie Markers: Obverse: Die scratches in the hair below the E of WE. Die scratches run south from the upper lip to the top of the chin. Die scratch starting on the back runs SE towards the V of VDB. N/S die scratches run above and below RTY of LIBERTY. N/S die scratches show at the 19 of date ending to the right of the chin. Die gouge shows south and east of the mint mark near the rim. Reverse: NS die scratches run north from the N of ONE below BU of PLURIBUS. Die crack runs south on the lower left side of the left wheat stalk. Die scratch runs south from the lower first A of AMERICA.
