Description
1948-D WRPM-002 is a repunched mint mark on the 1948-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. Wexler describes it as D/D Tilted (Rotated). On the obverse, a N/S scratch sits low between the R and T in LIBERTY, and a light E/W die crack crosses the top of the head. On the reverse, NNW/SSE scratches mark the left inner oak leaf and the acorn. Brian Ostro submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
