Description
1947 WDDR-002 is a doubled die reverse on the 1947 Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. DIME shows a very close clockwise (CW) spread pivoting at 11:00. On the obverse, a long N/S scratch lies in the field behind the head, and N/S scratches sit in the field between LIBERTY's T and the nose. On the reverse, WNW/ESE scratches are centered inside the D of DIME, and from the upper right of AMERICA's C and second A a scratch heads east. Joe Feld submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
