1946 Walking Liberty Half Dollar - Typical Die Clash TDC-50C-1946-01
Error
Description
TDC-50c-1946-01 is a typical die clash on a 1946 Walking Liberty half dollar, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. Clash marks appear only on the reverse die. The heaviest mark is the curl of the flag from under Liberty's outstretched arm. The flag's lower edge clashed into the field from the second feather down across to the olive branch leaves, and part of its top edge shows below the lowest feather across to the eagle's leg. The obverse die is also a doubled die, listed as FS-5-1946-101, seen as an extra fold in the sleeve and along the sleeve's outer edge.
