The centripetal direction indicates the secondary hub impression displaced the motto letters inward relative to the primary image. Attribution was performed on a circulated specimen, meaning the documented doubling was visible despite wear — a useful indicator that the spread, while light, carries enough relief separation to survive moderate circulation. The reverse carries a prominent die marker: a heavy die scratch running northwest-to-southeast through the E of PLURIBUS, providing a strong independent diagnostic for confirming the working die. No visible obverse die markers were noted on the examined specimen. This Wexler Team attribution is cross-referenced as "1946 50-cent WDDR-002."
