Description

Obverse: Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1946-S 50¢ WDDO-001. A close Class II spread towards the center shows on the sun rays, the left lower gown and IN of IGWT. Tripling shows on the far left lower gown. E/W die scratch below the right side breast. Reverse: The reverse is also an RPM listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1946-S 50¢ WRPM-001. It is an S/S North. Light die scratches north above the eagle's head.
