1946-S Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-001

Description

A spread toward the center and strong extra thickness shows on the letters around the rim, the dots, EPU, the pine needles and the pine cones. A third hubbing shows tripling on some of the letters. Die Markers: Obverse: NE/SW die scratches on both sides and inside the 6 in the date. Reverse: Die scratch SE from the right center of the R in AMERICA to the I.
