Description
1946-S WRPM-007 is a repunched mint mark on the 1946-S Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. A secondary S lies east of the primary S (S/S East). On Obverse Stage A, a small die gouge sits inside the upper R of TRUST. At Obverse Stage B there is a gouge right of the lower Y in LIBERTY. Wexler notes no significant markers on Reverse Stage A; on Reverse Stage B a small gouge sits above the C in MONTICELLO. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as RPM #1.
