Description
1946 WDDO-023 is a doubled die obverse on the 1946 Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. WE and the designer's initials have a close spread. The obverse is Type II. From the ear, three short scratches run NW, and a short scratch extends NW off the bottom of the eye. On the reverse, E/W scratches cross the upper olive branch and lie to the right of the oak branch. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
