Error
Description
A Class V CW spread shows on LIBERTY, the designer's initials, the date and weak on WE TRUST from a pivot at 12:00. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Type I. Die scratches SW from the brow to the B in LIBERTY. Die scratches SW from the eye. Obverse Stage B: Die scratches from the brow are weak and abraded away to the B in LIBERTY. Scratches from the eye are weaker but present. Light die crack on the upper rear of the head. Reverse Stage A: Die scratch ENE from the left inner side of the M in dime through the center. Die scratch from the lower right side of the E in AMERICA through the R and to the rim. Die scratch slightly below center from the last A in AMERICA running east through the dot. Die chip between the right side oak leaves. Reverse Stage B: Stage A markers slightly weaker but still present.
