Description

DieMarkers: Obverse Stage A: Type II. Two short die scratches south from the lower left side of the E in LIBERTY. Obverse Stage B: Die gouge on the vertical bar of the E in LIBERTY, to the left-center. Long die scratch from the right lower side of the B in LIBERTY to the lower forehead. Die gouge between the designer's initials and the 1 in the date. Reverse Stage A: Die scratch south from the inside of the right leg of the A in STATES. Die chip on the lower vertical bar of the second T in STATES to the right. E/W die scratch from the flame to the top oak leaves. Reverse Stage B: Irregular die scratches north from the PL of PLURIBUS, through the olive and to the left lower leaf.
