Description
1946-D WDDO-006 is a doubled die obverse on the 1946-D Washington quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. On the date there is a spread toward the center. On the obverse, a strong crack crosses the bust's base, with a die chip left of the designer's initials; in the upper hair lies a light horizontal crack. On the reverse, the eagle's right wing has a crack. Whaden Curtis submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as 7-O-II.
