Description
1946-D WRPM-006 is a repunched mint mark on the 1946-D Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. The D shows three punches, both extra impressions tilted (rotated) (D/D/D Tilted (Rotated) & Tilted (Rotated)). On the obverse, a die scratch heads NNW off the lower left of the E in WE. On the reverse, a WSW/ENE scratch links the tops of the F and I in FIVE. Brian Ribar submitted the variety, and Wexler's comments note that he took the photo of the RPM. Wexler lists no cross-references.
