Description
A Class I CW spread shows on IGWT, LIBERTY, the lower queue, the designer’s initials, and the date.Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A die scratch runs NE from the lower right E in WE. A die scratch runs NW from the top of the 9 in the date. Obverse Stage B: Stage A markers weak but still present. Die scratch extends SE from the hair below the LIB in LIBERTY. Reverse Stage A: A die scratch connects the lower second S in STATES to the lower O in OF. A die scratch runs SE from the lower right D in UNITED. Reverse Stage B: Die scratch from D abraded away. Other markers weak but still present. Die cracks along both wings. Die crack along the eagle's left wing extends north through the first A in AMERICA and the F in OF. Feeder finger damage through OF and the wing. Die pitting right of the D in UNITED in place of the Stage A die scratch.Submitted By: John A.
