Description
A CW spread from a pivot at about 3:00 shows on IGWT, the LIBE of LIBERTY, the bottom of the ribbon, the date, and the designer’s initials.Die Markers: Obverse: A short vertical die scratch can be found inside the lower B in LIBERTY. A die scratch runs east from the top of the I in LIBERTY. Reverse: A short vertical die gouge can be found to the right of the D in UNITED.Submitted By: John A. WexlerCross References: None known Obverse: Two parallel SW/NE die scratches run along the front of the forehead just above the eyebrow. Numerous horizontal die scratches can be found below the L in LIBERTY. Reverse: Numerous circular die scratches run through the eagle’s upper right body and the right wing.
