Description

Light extra thickness shows on the left wheat tip, left dot, and E PLURIBUS. Die Markers: Obverse: A series of vertical die scratches show under Lincoln’s chin. A series of vertical die scratches show to the right of Lincoln’s upper forehead and hair curl. Vertical die scratches run through the ST in TRUST. A die gouge (dot) shows above the right arm of the Y in LIBERTY. A series of mostly vertical die scratches show above and right of the Y in LIBERTY. A mostly vertical die scratch shows inside Lincoln’s lower ear. Reverse: A series of vertical die scratches run through the lower E in ONE. A vertical die scratch shows to the right of left vertical bar of the N in CENT. Vertical die scratches run through the letters UNI of UNITED. Vertical die scratches run through the right side of STATES and AMERICA.
