Description
Obverse: Die Markers: Obverse: A series of three die scratches run south from the B, E and Y in LIBERTY. A diagonal die scratch runs behind Lincoln’s collar and lower hair. A die gouge can be found to the right of the top of the O in GOD. Die scratches show to the left and right of the first T in TRUST. Two die gouges show at the rim above the ST in TRUST. A die scratch runs from SW to NE to the right of the throat. Reverse: Parallel die scratches run from SW to NE between the lower E in EPU and the left dot. A die gouge runs from SSW to NNE between the upper D in UNITED and the 1st S in STATES. Parallel die scratches curve from NNW to SSE through the U in UNITED and the O in OF.
