The curved form of the S mintmark makes San Francisco repunches visually distinctive compared to Denver's angular D, and the 1941-S WRPM-005 Lincoln wheat cent showcases this characteristic. Because the S has no straight edges, a repunched S typically manifests as thickened curves, a notch where two serif ends overlap, or a ghostly secondary S peeking from behind the final impression. WRPM-005 is the fifth variety cataloged in the Wexler system for this date and mint, cross-referenced as CONECA RPM #5 and Coppercoins 1941S-1MM-005.
