Description

Obverse Stage A: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Large S mint mark. A dot sized chip is seen under the chin. A die scratch is seen under the four in date’s crossbar. Obverse Stage B: A light die scratch is seen near the bottom and to the left of the lapel centered between the left and right ends of the Lincoln’s bust. Obverse Stage C: A die scratch extends from the upper portion of the O of GOD to the D of GOD. A die crack is seen at the bottom of the lapel. Obverse Stage D: A crack is seen above the VDB. Reverse Stage A: Circulated coin none detected. Reverse Stage B: Circulated coin none detected. Reverse Stage C: A long die scratch seen between the U and N of UNITED. Reverse Stage D: A small die crack is seen on the left wheat stalk towards the top of and in the wheat kernels is the length of two wheat kernels at this stage.
