Denver's 1941 output of 45,634,000 dimes, the record D-mint Mercury production, generated the die volume necessary for multiple RPMs to emerge, with the three documented varieties for this date showing three different displacement directions: South (RPM-003), East (RPM-004), and East (RPM-005).
