Description

Obverse Stage A: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: N/S die scratches through the date. Die scratches south from the beard. Obverse Stage B: Stage A die scratches are weaker. Secondary mint mark not as strong. Reverse Stage A: No prominent die markers. Reverse Stage B: Retained CUD in the area of 2:30 and 4:00 that includes a portion of the right wheat grains. Die crack from the rim at 10:00 running SSE into the wheat lines.
