Description

S/S/S East & East Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Die crack east from the front of the shoulder running into the lapel then turning SE and running into the rim. Obverse Stage B: Die crack from the rim at 7:00 running NE to the bust. Obverse Stage C: Stage A and B die markers still present. Obverse Stage D: Die crack from the rim at 7:00 runs into shoulder then turns NNE to the back of the shoulder. New WNW/ESE die crack on the shoulder between the two previous die cracks. Die crack through lapel to rim is stronger. Reverse Stage A: Die crack NE from the rim at 9:00 turning north and running up the wheat grains on the left side of the left wheat ear. Die crack from the upper left of the O in ONE running NNW through the left side of the L in PLURIBUS to the rim. Reverse Stage B: New reverse die. Very heavy die crack SE from the rim at 10:00 running down the left side of the wheat ear and exiting SW at 8:00 and running to the rim. Reverse Stage C: Die cracks are into the rim. Die crack from the rim at 9:00 running east to the stage B die crack. Reverse Stage D: New reverse (3rd) die. Light die cracks on the right side of the right wheat ear.
