Description

Obverse Stage A: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: SSE die scratches from the 4 in the date running along the right side of the mint mark. N/S die scratch between the upper left of the mint mark and the lower area of the 9 in the date. Lathe marks above IN GOD and under the bust extending beyond the bust on the left side. Obverse Stage B: Die scratches abraded away. Lathe marks are weaker. Reverse Stage A: NW/SE die scratches inside the M in UNUM on the lower right. Reverse Stage B: Die scratch still present. Die crack from the rim at 10:30 running SE to the wheat tip. Die crack from the rim at 4:15 running NNW to the wheat ear.
