Description

Obverse Stage A: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: ENE/WSW die crack across the shoulder. ESE/WNW die scratches inside the 4 and 0 in the date. Obverse Stage B: New obverse die. ENE/WSW die crack on the shoulder positioned close to the bust. NW/SE die crack on the head that turns west at the top of the head. Reverse Stage A: Die scratch SW from about left center of the P in PLURIBUS. Die scratches ENE from the right center area of the L in PLURIBUS. Reverse Stage B: Large die chip on the right side of the roof. Die crack beginning slightly right of the center of the dome and running north through the right side of the second U in PLURIBUS.
