Description

A spread towards the center visible on USA, EPU, QUARTER DOLLAR, and the branches marks the primary doubled die reverse for the 1936 Philadelphia Mint Washington Silver Quarter, attributed by the Wexler Team and cross-referenced as both CONECA 1-R-VI and Wexler Variety ID 1936 25c WDDR-001. Die markers include an east-west die crack running through the upper hair on the obverse, a die crack across the base of the bust, and a die crack running down the eagle's right wing on the reverse.
