Description
1936 WDDO-003 is a doubled die obverse on the 1936 Washington quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling, a close spread toward the center, is on the 9, along the lower part of its top. On the obverse, several scratches curve NE off the upper right of the 6, and another scratch heads SE from the top of the 6. On the reverse, a scratch runs ENE from the lower part of the E in STATES. Joe Feld submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
