Description

This 1936 Washington Quarter carries the DDR-006 doubled die reverse, displaying strong extra thickness on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, QUARTER DOLLAR, and the stems of the heraldic eagle's olive branch and arrows. Die marriage DMR-015 with die marker UVC-0498 documents three stages: Stage A in Early Die State remains unconfirmed, Stage B shows both the reverse and obverse in Mid-Die State, and Stage C in Late Die State is also unconfirmed.
