1934 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-001

Description

A very close Class II spread towards the center shows on the letters of IGWT. Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack runs east from the lower back of the bust over the V.D.B. ending near the fold of the jacket. Reverse: The reverse is also a doubled die variety listed as 1934 1¢ WDDR-002. A die scratch runs north to south just to the left of the vertical bar of the T in CENT. A die scratch extends SSW from the lower inside of the M in AMERICA. Obverse:
