1927 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-012

Description

Two extra eyelids show below the main eyelid. Die Markers: Obverse: Intact O in GOD. Die gouge well above E in LIBERTY. A die scratch under the chin runs NE/SW. A die scratch runs SE from the upper lip. Reverse: Two parallel die scratches run NE/SW inside the lower N in CENT. Short die scratches run vertically inside the upper E and T in CENT. A small die gouge (dot) is present above E in STATES. A small die gouge is present left of the upper O in OF. A small die scratch is present inside the lower E in AMERICA.
