Description
1924 WDDR-002 is a doubled die reverse on the 1924 Peace dollar, cataloged by the Wexler team. The olive branch and leaves are lightly doubled. The rays between DOLLAR's O and the eagle show doubling spread to the west, and significant doubling shows on the leg feathers, the rays behind the leg, and the rays above and below ONE and left of the eagle. On the obverse, a horizontal scratch sits inside the upper part of the date's 2, and a crack runs NW from the top of IN's N. Wexler notes no significant reverse markers. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
