A significant obverse die marker accompanies this variety: a die crack runs along the front of the base of the bust, tracing the truncation line where Liberty's portrait meets the coin field. This crack provides an independent attribution checkpoint visible at lower magnification than the reverse doubling itself. No significant reverse markers beyond the doubling have been documented.
