A CW spread shows on the date. Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack runs along the front of the base of the bust. A die scratch runs SSW/NNE to the right of the second two in the date. A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the left of the bottom of the second two in the date. Reverse: The reverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1922 $1 WDDR-003. A strong spread to the east shows on the olive branch and leaves, the eagle’s talons, the back feathers on the lower legs, ONE, the DO in DOLLAR, the rays to the left of the legs, the rays running through ONE, and the rays running through the DO in DOLLAR.
