=1922-D VAM-1A Die Break Below Y= Discovered by David Close. 1A (revised 2007) II 1 · B1a (Die Break Below Y) Obverse II 1– Circular die break across top of hair bun to below Y in LIBERTY with wide break under Y and some displaced field. Vertical die crack to rim below Y. Very slight doubling of designer's initials and ends of rear hair strands. Comments:
