1891-O VAM-12A Doubled Eye, Far Date, High O, Doubled Bow, Clashed Obverse n, st Discovered by Jeff Oxman, June 2005. 12A III27 · C3g (Doubled Eye, Far Date, High O, Doubled Bow, Clashed Obverse n, st) (181) Obverse III27– Clashed die w/ faint partial incuse n of In from rev next to Liberty's neck & partial incuse st of Trust from rev showing in right hair vee of lower hair edge. DPIS - Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: 1891-O VAM-12 can be found with a single clashing event which does not result in letter transfer. 1891-O VAM-12A shows a heavier clash with a very minor offset from the 1st clash (noticeable at the N of IGWT on the reverse). 1891-O VAM-12 also does not exhibit the die cracks @ STATES OF which 1891-O VAM-12A has.
