1888-P VAM-18 Doubled Eyelid, 8 in Denticles, Far Date Discovered by Martin Field, March 1983. This coin is a Hot 50 Morgan VAM. 18(revised) III214 · C3a (Doubled Eyelid, 8 in Denticles, Far Date) (190) Obverse III214– Eyelid strongly doubled at bottom. Hair above ear, right inside and bottom outside of ear and bottom edge of lower cotton leaf are slightly doubled. Top of 8 shows in denticles as raised curved bar in field space between denticles below second 8 and small raised tip in right adjacent denticle space. Date set further right than normal.
