Description
1888-P VAM-10 Slanted Date Discovered by Kirk Duncan, May 1977. Revised 2017, Kurt R. Johnson 10 (revised) III2 8 - C3a (Slanted Date) (190) Obverse III2 8 - Date slanted with last 8 far from rim. Date lateral position is normal. - Die marker - Short vertical fine die scratch left end of cap bottom below ribbon. Reverse C3a - -Die marker - Diagonal polishing lines in eagle's wing-neck gap. DPIS - Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: Multiple Die Pairs do exist for Normal slanted date varieties with no significant markers or doubling.
