Description
1887-S VAM-4 Near Date, Doubled Date (1---7) Discovered by Bill Fivaz, September 1974. This coin is a Hot 50 Morgan VAM. 4 III2 3 C3a (Doubled 1--7, Near Date) Obverse III2 3 - Date set further left than normal. The 1 is doubled at top left as two curved lines well away from 1. The 7 has a dot and short vertical line to left of top left serif. Liberty head profile slightly doubled.
