Description
Discovery May 2024, GC 23 III2 18 • C3l (Doubled 18-3, Engraved Leaves) (?) Obverse III2 18 - 1 doubled below flag, at top left of vertical shaft, and on right side. First 8 doubled on surface at left inside of upper loop. 3 doubled slightly at bottom inside of lower loop. ''Die Marker'' - Scratch across upper right branch of Y in LIBERTY. Reverse C3l - S mint mark set slightly left and normal height and upright.. Leaves in wreath opposite NE in ONE and U in UNITED re-engraved. ''Die Markers'' - Lines in wing-neck gap and wreath bow. Chip in I of "In" and G of "God" on some specimens. Comments:
