Description
=1882-O VAM-24 Doubled 2, O Tilted Left= Discovered by Bill Deterline, July 1978. 24 III2 16 • C3k (Doubled 2, O Tilted Left) (181) I-2 R-3 Obverse III2 16 - 2 doubled on right side of knob. Die chips and polishing lines in upper loop and at bottom of lower loop of 2. Reverse C3k - Mint mark set left and tilted left. Comments: # VAMs 24 and 25 share the same obverse description # VAMs 24 and 23 share the same reverse description # There has been confusion with 24/25 reverse attributions since both reverses have the mint mark in the same position, but with a different appearance of the center opening. VAM 24 does not exist as originally listed & all are actually VAM 25.
