Description
1882-O VAM-19 Doubled 82 Discovered by Guy Messing, July 1974. Revised 2010. 19 (revised) III2 12 - C3a (Doubled 82) (176) Obverse III2 12 - 82 doubled. Second 8 is doubled at top left outside of upper loop and very slightly at bottom outside of lower loop. 2 doubled at top and left outside of upper loop and slightly on right side of lower loop. Left 8 slightly doubled at top inside of upper loop. Reverse C3a - Some specimens show overpolished die with field showing through eagle's right wing. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: The description has been recently updated to include slight doubling on inside top of upper loop of the first 8.
