=1881-S VAM-17 Doubled 18-1, S/S Down= Discovered by Guy Messing, January 1975. 17 III2 9 - C3h (Doubled 18-1, S/S Down) (180) Obverse III2 9 - First 1 doubled slightly at very bottom. First 8 doubled on surface at bottom outside of lower loop with die chip in left inside of upper loop. Second 1 doubled at lower left of shaft with two vees at bottpm of vertical shaft.
