1881-P VAM-6 Tripled 18, Doubled Profile & Eyelid Discovered by Leonard Hinckley, February 1974; Revised Brent Fogelberg, May 2009 6(revised 2008) III26 · C3a (Tripled 18, Doubled Profile & Eyelid) (179) Obverse III2 6– Left 8 strongly tripled at bottom outside of upper and lower loops and at top left inside of lower loop. Upper loop of left 8 also doubled at top left inside. 1 slightly tripled at top right. Slightly doubled nose, lips and chin plus eyelid. Reverse C3a - Normal die. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: Exact same reverse die was used to produce 1881-P VAM-6, 1881-P VAM-32.
