=1881-O VAM-9 Doubled 18, Dot O= Discovered by Jim Baxter, March 1975. Revised 2006, 2017 9(revised) III2 4 · C3g (Doubled 18, Eye Tear Drops) (176) Obverse III2 4– First 8 slightly doubled at top inside of upper and lower loops and strongly doubled at right outside of both loops. First 1 slightly doubled at right side of vertical shaft. Second 8 has indentation at to left outside of lower loop. Couple tiny die chips in horizontal line in front of eye. Reverse C3g– Die 1 - Small raised die chip in middle of II O mint mark opening with diagonal polishing line below it. Some leaves in right wreath, STATES OF and tops of In God We Trust slightly doubled towards rim. Reverse C3a - Die 2 - Same die as VAM-28 reverse Die 2. Die 2 - ''Die marker'' - Diagonal polishing line on second inner feather from bottom of eagle's left wing. Comments: # The Die 1 reverse shared with 1881-O VAM-9.1 & 1881-O VAM-46.
