Slightly doubled hair edge at top of ear. Reverse C3b – Normal die of C3 type with large IV O centered mint mark. Some die stages will show a spike at the eagle's beak. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: This is really easily confused with the 1879-O VAM-25. This variety can be found in PL Revised in March 2023 to add spike at beak. Not known at the time whether it's on some or all die stages.
