The 1869 Cent Patterns page groups the one-cent patterns dated 1869 in the Reconstruction Era Patterns (1866-1869) series, all struck at the Philadelphia Mint. Longacre's coronet Liberty head with a Roman numeral I in a laurel wreath (J-666 and J-667) repeated the 1868 set design and was again sold with three-cent and five-cent pieces for $9 a set. J-668 to J-671 come from the regular Indian Head cent dies in copper, copper-nickel, nickel and aluminum.
